Our Annual Turkey Giveaway Event
Our second favorite thing to do (after helping brides find their dream dresses!) is to give back to our community. Every November we partner with a local organization to help feed Salem-area families in need.
For every wedding dress sold this month, we donate a turkey in the bride’s name to Family Building Blocks! Your happily-ever-after purchase in November gives us the opportunity to add turkeys to Thanksgiving food baskets for local families.
Bridal Gallery Gives Back
How does our annual Turkey Giveaway event work? It’s simple: when you buy THE dress at our locally-owned boutique, we donate a turkey in your name! This month only you can share the excitement of finding the dress of your dreams while helping a local family in need. We have partnered with Family Building Blocks this year!

Do I choose the family that will receive the turkey?
Family Building Blocks identifies families in need through their extensive community outreach programs. Rest assured that your donation will be lighting up the holiday for a local family.
Does my bridal stylist actually go shopping for the turkey?
In years past, we LOVED shopping for turkeys! However, due to pandemic restrictions and to keep everyone as safe as possible, we currently present a check to the team at Family Building Blocks at the end of our annual Turkey Giveaway event. We look forward to returning to shopping (and juggling freezer space with everyone we know) in the near future!
How much money have you raised during the Turkey Giveaway event at The Bridal Gallery?
We donate an average of $750 in turkeys each November.
Do tuxedo rentals / purchases or Mother’s gowns count for The Turkey Giveaway Event?
While these purchases do not qualify for a turkey giveaway, every sale made throughout the year furthers The Bridal Gallery’s ability to continue to give back to our community in many other ways!
